Michael is a Wealth Management Counsel at Bluespring Wealth Management. Michael previously served clients as an attorney and CPA with business, tax, estate planning, and real estate experience. He has spent more than 25 years managing complex wealth strategies on behalf of closely-held companies, and high-net-worth individuals and families.
Michael’s career also included serving as General Counsel for a $700 million real estate company, where he raised capital for, structured, and managed private real estate funds focused on acquiring and managing multi-family, commercial, office, and hotel properties. He has worked in and with several start-up operations as a Fund Manager and has been engaged in an advisory capacity for several businesses and real estate ventures.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business (Accounting) from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and his Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law (University of the Pacific), with a Tax Concentration. Michael holds the Series 65 (Fiduciary Investment Advisor) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam) securities licenses and is also a licensed Life, Accident and Health Insurance Agent.
Outside of the office, Michael is a devoted husband of over 28 years, and father to three beloved children. He and his family have been very involved in their church and serving alongside various non-profits with a primary focus on helping the youth and underprivileged in need of a hand up, rather than a handout. He is an Advisory Board Member of Eternal Christendom, Trustee of Lead Like Jesus and previously served on the Boards of 3Strands Global fighting sex trafficking and SafeHaven Ministries of Sacramento working with the homeless. Michael also enjoys spending time outdoors, is very active and loves traveling with his family.
